It is an honor to walk alongside you in the challenges of life. You will find that I am a calm, consistent, and encouraging presence amidst the chaos. I connect well with teens, young adults, and women facing a wide variety of issues. I have over 10 years of experience working with teens in various settings and over seven years of experience in the mental health field including leading grief groups, outpatient counseling, and at a private University. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Michigan and a Certified S.A.F.E. (Somatic and Attachment Focused) EMDR Therapist through EMDRIA. I have special interest in anxiety disorders, grief and loss, infertility, and adjustment. Other areas of interest include stress, trauma, identity, self-esteem, and Adult Children of Alcoholics. At this time, I am only seeing clients online via HIPAA compliant video. I will resume seeing clients in person in the future. Online counseling is an excellent option for those with busy schedules or those who prefer counseling from the comfort of home. I offer a person-centered and hope-filled perspective as I design the process of therapy around each individual and genuinely believe change is possible. In my free time, I can be found spending time with my family outside hiking, biking, camping, and more.
